The 19th Official Development Assistance (ODA) Evaluation Workshop which is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association will be held on 27 - 28 February 2024. In this online workshop, participants are expected to share their knowledge and experiences related to evaluation on ODA and National Development Plans and to discuss evaluation topics in the Asia-Pacific region.

The workshop will be a unique opportunity for government officials and experts of partner countries who are responsible for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of ODA and/or National Development Plans to share experiences and identify further actions regarding evaluation. Participation in this workshop is by invitation only

Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation (VOPEs) play a crucial role in shaping evaluation practices at national, regional, and international levels. VOPEs directly involved in the development of national and subnational evaluation policies benefit not only their members but also society at large.

One of VOPE in the Asia Pacific region is the Mongolian Evaluation Association (MEA), which has published its 2023 Annual Report on What strategies has the MEA employed to promote the professionalization and institutionalization of evaluation at the national level in Mongolia.
