Japan Evaluation Society (JES) was founded in September 2000 as a voluntary association of scholars, government officials, and practitioners for the purpose of fostering an “evaluation culture” in Japan. JES aims to contribute to the improvement in transparency and accountability of the public sector, as well as the enhancement of resource management in the private sector.

The Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that aims to improve the theory, practice, and use of evaluation across the Asia-Pacific region. Our members are national and thematic voluntary evaluation associations, and we represent 40+ countries in the region.

The Center for Evaluation (CEval) at Saarland University is a unique institution in Germany that combines academic research, consulting, and educational training. Since 2002, CEval has conducted evaluations in various fields of civil society and state action. It has introduced two Master’s programmes in evaluation at Saarland University and has helped to establish evaluation programmes in Costa Rica and Uganda. The center advises public and private organizations on developing monitoring systems and evaluation concepts and provides academic and non-academic training in monitoring and evaluation (M&E). In 2011, CEval GmbH was spun off to independently continue its practice-oriented evaluation and consulting work, strengthening the link between research and application.
