Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA) is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization that aims to improve the theory, practice, and use of evaluation
across the Asia-Pacific region. Our members are national and thematic voluntary evaluation associations and we represent 40+ countries in the region. Currently, 17 National Evaluation Associations are members of APEA.

An exemplary national evaluation society for developing, promoting, and practicing innovative but practical evaluation standards, practices, and interests in the Asia Pacific Region and globally.

OUR MISSION

To promote and sustain the concept, practice, and usefulness of evaluation and support the achievement of optimal performance and results across all sectors in the Asia Pacific Region, in both the public sector and private sectors.

OUR GOALS

Promote and institutionalize evaluation as a strategic management tool within both the public and private sectors in the Asia Pacific Region; Enhance the capacity of APEA members in evaluation and related matters; Represent the interests of APEA members in the global evaluation agenda.

Asia Pacific Regional Evaluation Strategy

The Strategy was developed in a highly participatory and consultative process which was lunched officially on 10 December 2020. The overall goal of the strategy is to realise greater use of evaluation contributing positively to achievement of national development goals and SDGs in Asia Pacific Region. The strategy includes eight themes, which cover various key aspects in the evaluation field. Read more among several areas, The strategy will help in promoting evaluation in Asia Pacific especially during this Decade of Action.
