Follow Up Survey - VOPEs in Asia Pacific Region

Asia Pacific Evaluation Association conducted a needs Assessment of Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation (VOPEs) in Asia Pacific Region. As a follow up to that survey, the “Strengthening VOPEs” action group part of the Asia Pacific Regional Evaluation Strategy would like to understand the current needs and challenges faced by the VOPEs in the Asia Pacific Region.

Need Assessment Survey - VOPEs in Asia Pacific Region

The Need Assessment survey was conducted by theme members of Strengthening VOPEs. The objective of this online survey was to identify and map out the needs of VOPEs in the Asia Pacific region. Based on the survey results, the team had prepared the key action points that can be taken to strengthen and support the VOPEs in the region. Further to identify the capacity to establish new VOPEs in the countries which haven’t VOPEs yet.

Strengthening VOPEs theme of APEA supported to the first webinar of Evaluation Association of Bhutan & EvalYouth Bhutan on ' Fostering Evaluation Ecosystem: Case of Bhutan. This was successfully held on 3rd November 2021.

The Survey Report: Need Assessment For Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation(VOPEs) in Asia Pacific Region

This report is based on the survey conducted with 16 VOPEs in the Asia Pacific Region. The purpose of the survey was to undertake an assessment study to identify the needs of students and professionals working or likely to work in development or M&E related activities.

Follow Up VOPE Survey Report: Current Status and Needs of Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation (VOPEs) in Asia Pacific Region to Enhance Their Capacity

This report is based on the survey distributed to 34 VOPEs in the Asia Pacific Region, which received insightful responses from 17 organizations. The main goal was to identify current challenges and support needs to help enhance the capacity of VOPEs.
